Power over Ethernet (PoE) allows a single CAT 5 Ethernet cable connected to a data port to provide both data connection and electrical power to networked pieces of equipment such as sensors, IP video cameras and even wireless mesh nodes. Techaya’s MILTECH™ 910-PoE military-grade PoE+ simplifies cabling and reduces space requirements in mobile Ethernet-equipped platforms, such as vetronic, ground vehicles and aerial applications where traditional power sources have limited availability.
This unique Ethernet switch is the only military-grade PoE switch on the market today that supports 30W of PoE on all 8 gigibit Ethernet 10/100/1000 ports, but can be configured to support up to 60 W of PoE on each port up to a maximum power budget of 330 watts total. The MILTECH 910 PoE supports both 802.3af and 802.3at standard devices and supports COTS guidelines for PoE-enabled cameras, WiFi access points, mesh nodes and other devices.
Leveraging best-in-class switching technology from Techaya, the MILTECH™ 910-PoE is fully managed with advanced network features such as switching protocols, virtual LANS (VLANS), traffic prioritization, and bandwidth aggregation.
Using sealed MIL -D-38999 circular connectors, it meets MIL-STD-810F airborne and ground environmental compliance for high physical and network reliability.
