The MILTECH 402 is a rugged, military-grade Fast Ethernet switch with PoE and 5VDC power distribution available over the Ethernet ports. Combining LAN and power distribution and weighing less than 10 ounces, it drastically lightens the load and reduces cabling complexity in soldier carry applications.

Once connected to a military-grade 10-16.8VDC smart battery supply (4 cell Li-ION), it uses dynamic power allocation to provision 2 LAN channels with PoE (15.4 watt each), 2 LAN channels with 16.8 Vdc/5A (Vbat) and1 LAN channel with 5V/1.5A up to a maximum power budget of 35W. The MILTECH 402 is IEEE 802.3 compliant.

Networking features include full wire-speed forwarding rate (26.8 Mpps), store-and-forward, Auto MDX-II/MDI-X, auto negotiation, and address look-up.

The MILTECH 402 weighs less than 10 ounces including connectors and hardware and measures 3.93” x 3.7” x 1.34”. It meets MIL-STD 810F/G/GM, and MIL-STD 461 specifications.
