Los Angeles – October 7, 2014 – MilSource, a U.S. distributor of military-grade Ethernet connectivity solutions, announced availability of Techaya’s MILTECH 912 rugged, 12-port, MIL-STD managed gigabit Ethernet switch. Ideal for mobile Ethernetequipped platforms, such as vetronic, unmanned ground vehicles and aerial applications, the MILTECH 912 provides an excellent combination of size, weight and
cost (SWaP-C) and saves valuable real estate for computers, IP-based sensors, navigation, targeting systems and other devices.
The MILTECH 912 is compact, yet offers 12 triple-speed (10/100/1000 Mbps) Ethernet ports, and has advanced network features including VLANs, traffic prioritization (QoS) and bandwidth aggregation. The twelve Ethernet ports are provided through by two MILD-38999 connectors and the power stands alone to conform to MIL-STD-1275. Its gigabit speeds and 24VDC bus make it instantly compatible with most network device and power systems.
